The Fayetteville SwampDogs and Morehead City Marlins were rained out at J.P. Riddle Stadium on Thursday. Tickets for Thursday's rain out are valid for Friday night's Kids Night, which is the final home game of the regular season. There will be kids giveaways, $4 kids meals and kids will be able to run the bases after the game.
The SwampDogs' Fireworks Extravaganza scheduled for Thursday evening was moved to Friday night, team officials said. The patriotic jersey auction, set to conclude after the last out of Thursday night's game, was also moved and will now end at the last out of Friday night's contest against the Wilmington Sharks.
