Wednesday night's game vs. the Campbell Alumni team was cancelled, but the SwampDogs made the most of it with an impromtu home run derby against the Camels. For Fayetteville, Jimmy Reardon led the charge with two homers, but it was 2018 Campbell alum Jeff Hahs who walked away the winner with a total of three long balls.
The SwampDogs will resume play on Thursday night against Morehead City for the 75th anniversary rememberance of D-Day. Gates open at 6 PM and first pitch is slated for 7:05 PM.
The Fayetteville SwampDogs are members of the The Coastal Plain League and are in their 19th Summer of fun. The Coastal Plain League is the nation's premier summer collegiate baseball league.
