The Fayetteville SwampDogs will host their second movie night on May 11th, presented by Hot Sugar Pop. They will show one of America's most beloved baseball movies, The Sandlot. On that night, they have added some flare to the night by inviting a special guest. Chauncey Leopardi, who played lovable Squints in the 1993 film, will head to The Swamp and meet fans on that Saturday.
This announcement coming off the heels of the SwampDogs first movie night, where they showed Rookie Of The Year and had Thomas Ian Nicholas out at I-95 Muscle. Chauncey will sign autographs, take photos, participate in a Q&A session and introduce the movie.
"We had such a memorable time with our first movie night, we wanted to enhance the experience for our next one as well", said SwampDogs Assistant General Manager, Clint Narramore. "I want to give a big thank you to Thomas Ian Nicholas for putting us in touch with Chauncey. I know this will be a great experience for all of our fans."
