Extreme Midget Wrestling Invades The Swamp

The stars of Extreme Midget Wrestling were in Fayetteville last night for an action packed "Romp In The Swamp".  The rain held off and despite the cold temperatures, the fans flocked to The Swamp to see the "Baddest 'Lil Show" for a 2 hour show featuring five matches, included a six man elminiation battle royale to close out the night.  The event was held on the field at The Swamp and Extreme Midget Wrestling, who is based in Texas made the trip to Fayetteville before traveling to Illinois for their next show.

"The SwampDogs hit it out of the park with this event", said Minda Kistner of #910Comedy, a comedy group that travels around Fayetteville.  "Everyone there was having the time of their lives, as evidenced by the guy sitting next to me exclaiming " this is the best day of my life!"  It was really entertaining and truly unique!"

"For years, I've been telling people that one of my family's favorite things to do in the summertime is attend a Fayetteville SwampDogs game at J.P. Riddle Stadium", said Jenny Bell from the Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau.  There's something magical about this stadium that transports you back to your best Little League memories or your college home games with the crew. Even better, this stadium also plays host to a wide array of other events year-round. My son and I were there for Extreme Midget Wrestling, and as hard as it is to impress my teen, this show was right up his alley and just as entertaining for me. I'm so grateful we have a venue like J.P. Riddle that is committed to bringing affordable, family-friendly entertainment to Fayetteville!"

The SwampDogs next event will be on Saturday, April 13th.  They will screen the movie, "Rookie Of The Year".  Actor, Thomas Ian Nicholas, who starred in the film as young Henry Rowengartner will make an appearance at The Swamp on that Saturday for an autograph session, a photo op session, a Q and A, and then will introduce the movie.  Tickets for that can be found here or by calling the SwampDogs at (910) 426-5900.
