The Fayetteville SwampDogs are pleased to announce the signing of first baseman Harry Brown for the 2018 roster.
Brown, a sophomore at James Madison University, has provided power from the left side of the plate in his two years with the Dukes. The 6-1, 200 lb. infielder has slugged six home runs in his James Madison career, including five this season. The Virginia Beach, Virginia native is batting .231 this year and getting on base at a solid .375 clip.
Brown figures to be a major piece of the puzzle for the SwampDogs as they look to claim the Petitt Cup this summer. The season kicks off Tuesday, May 29 at J.P. Riddle Stadium.
