SwampDogs Add Tennessee Twosome to 2018 Roster

The Fayetteville SwampDogs are pleased to announce the signing of Kyle Klotz and Logan Jarvis, for the 2018 season.

The duo comes to the SwampDogs from Belmont University, where they helped the Bruins compile a 31-29 record en route to the team's first-ever appearance in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship game in 2017.

Klotz, a right-handed pitcher from Fairview, Tennessee, is in his third season with the Bruins after breaking the team record with 46 appearances last season. Coming out of the bullpen, Klotz went 3-3 with a 4.94 ERA in 2017. The 5-11, 210 lb junior is 1-1 with a save in 22 appearances this season.

Jarvis, in his sophomore season at Belmont, has a solid bat and versatile defensive skills. At 6-3, 185 lbs, he has the ability to play in both the infield and the outfield. The Franklin, Tennessee native went six-for-24 at the plate last year for the Bruins while recording 24 putouts and committing zero errors in the field.

The SwampDogs are excited to have this talented group of Bruins join the team in its 18th season, which begins May 29th at the Swamp.
