Fayetteville is the 5th largest city in North Carolina with over 200,000 people making up the greater community. Fayetteville is home to a regional airport, major hotels, restaurants, and shopping. In addition, the City of Fayetteville is home to Fort Bragg, the largest Army base in the United States. Fayetteville is also home to the best host families in the Coastal Plain League who look after our players as if they were their own sons.

Winning History

The Fayetteville SwampDogs have a proud history of success in the Coastal Plain League including the 2017 1st Half East Division Title. The SwampDogs have had 7 division titles and continue to rank among the league’s best in wins each and every season.

Facilities

J.P. Riddle Stadium is second to none in terms of atmosphere for both players and fans alike. “The Swamp” frequently hosts 4,000 fans for SwampDogs games and also has air-conditioned clubhouses for both home and away teams. In addition, J.P. Riddle Stadium is home to the best-manicured bullpens and field in the CPL as well as batting cages beyond the right field wall.

The SwampDogs always travel in style thanks to Black Tie Bus Charters. Each charter bus is euqipped with Direct TV and Wireless internet to ensure every player is comfortable no matter how far the SwampDogs have to travel for a road game. In addition, the Omni Gym is the official fitness center of the Fayetteville SwampDogs featuring the most modern and spacious workout environment in Fayetteville, with complimentary access given to all SwampDogs’ players and coaches.
