This is the time of year for us all to gather with family and friends and watch parades. Er, wait a second, is that right?
Yes it is! The Fayetteville SwampDogs staff, along with Fun-Go will be spreading holiday cheer to the masses over the next two weekends.
The fun starts in Hope Mills on Saturday, December 2nd for the Town of Hope Mills’ annual Christmas Parade. The first float is set to begin the route at 3pm and make its way from Hope Mills Middle School to Rockfish Elementary School. Fun-Go and friends will be making their way along the route with stickers and candy for the kids!
The following weekend, on December 9th, Fun-Go will make his way to downtown Fayetteville for the annual Rotary Christmas Parade. The parade kicks off at 11am and goes from the court house on Person Street to the Amtrak station on Hay Street. Make sure you don’t leave early as Fun-Go and friends will be following behind Santa to hand out candy to the young parade goers!
That’s certainly not the only time you’ll see Fun-Go out this season. Make sure to follow our social media platforms (@GoSwampDogs) to find out where he’ll be headed during the holidays. You never know, he just might show up at your house during the family picture to be able to be on your Christmas card!
