SwampDogs release promotional schedule

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Fayetteville SwampDogs games are known as the place where baseball is fun, and in the 2015 season, that reputation will continue to grow as the team has released their promotional night schedule.

This year’s schedule features four fireworks extravaganzas, numerous giveaway nights and many more nights filled with special surprises for all.

The season kicks off on Tuesday, May 26th where the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a magnet schedule courtesy of Freeman and Barrett, CPAs. Stick it on your fridge so you always know when to come out to “The Swamp” for family fun.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 30th for the SwampDogs first fireworks extravaganza of the year. The other fireworks shows take place on Saturday, June 13th; Friday, July 3rd; and Saturday, August 1st. Don’t miss your chance to experience the best fireworks Fayetteville has to offer.

The June 13th show will be extra special, as the SwampDogs will be hosting Military Appreciation Night presented by Rick Hendrick Toyota.  While we appreciate our military every day, this will be extra special as we celebrate the 240th birthday of the U.S. Army.  The first 500 fans will receive a camo hat courtesy of Rick Hendrick Toyota and Foxy 99.

As the 2015 season is the 15th season of SwampDogs baseball, we’ll be turning back the clock to the year 2000 on June 19th to celebrate. The first 500 fans in attendance at that game will receive a trucker hat courtesy of Healy Wholesale.

Saturday, June 27th is a very special night at “The Swamp” as the ‘Dogs will be hosting Zach Brown Night. Come for a night filled with your favorite Zac Brown Band music, and meet Zach Brown himself! The first 500 fans through the gates 21 and over will get a pint glass courtesy of R.A. Jeffrey’s.

When the SwampDogs kick off the second half of their schedule on Wednesday, July 1st, we’ll be celebrating Opening Night: Part 2 – The salute to sequels. Follow our social media accounts for special discounts and deals that night as well.

Thursday, July 9th marks the return of our annual Family Fun Night and Fun-Go Bobblehead giveaway. Make sure to grab this year’s bobblehead courtesy of Bob 96.5 FM to add to your collection!

Two days later on Saturday, July 11th is the 9th annual StriKing Out Cancer Night. The SwampDogs will be auctioning off one-of-a-kind game-worn pink jerseys to benefit the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation’s Friends of the Cancer Center.

Behind our military heroes are strong, loving families. Join us on Thursday, July 16th as we honor their sacrifice and strength with our Salute to Military Families presented by USAA.

The regular season concludes on Saturday, August 1st, with Fan and Sponsor Appreciation Night – a night of giveaways and prizes capped off with the final fireworks extravaganza of the summer.

Other highlights of the promotional schedule include a Visor Giveaway presented by Cape Fear Orthopedic (June 5), Intern Overthrow (July 26), the Alzheimer’s Walk presented by Fayetteville Walk to End Alzheimer’s (July 29), and many more!

We hope to see you at “The Swamp” for all of these fun nights throughout the season.
