FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – As the Faytteville SwampDogs use a day with no games to rest and recharge before the upcoming streak of 12 games in 13 days, they are also getting ready to kick off the SwampDogs Kid’s Camp presented by South River EMC.
With three convenient dates throughout the summer, the SwampDogs Kid’s Camp has something for everyone. The camp will be held on Friday, June 19th; Wednesday, July 8th; and Wednesday, July 29th at J.P. Riddle Stadium, the home of the SwampDogs. Registration and Drop-Off begins at 8 am, with the camp running from 9 am to 1 pm.
Kids ages 5-13 will take part in a variety of drills to learn the game of baseball from some of the best college baseball players and coaches in the entire country. In addition to first-class instruction by the players and coaches, each camper receives a SwampDogs t-shirt, lunch for the day of the camp, an autograph session and a ticket to watch the SwampDogs in action.
The cost of the camp is $50 for one day, $90 for two days, and $120 for all three days. A group discount for 10 or more campers is available, so bring your whole team to the park for the camp. Space is limited, so be sure to preregister for the camp by calling the SwampDogs office at 910-426-5900.
