The Fayetteville SwampDogs hosted Chevy’s Youth Baseball Clinic at The Swamp on Tuesday, welcoming boys and girls ages five to thirteen and all experience levels to learn, play, and have fun with SwampDogs coaches and players.
The camps are apart of a national program put on by Chevrolet Dealers across the country. Boys and girls are able to participate with experienced instructors within their communities at no cost to the participants. As a part of the program, youth are able to spend time learning the fundamentals of baseball such as hitting, fielding, and pitching with professional instruction.
The SwampDogs Manager Anthony Williams and Assistant Coaches Tim Miller and Anthony Manley, as well as several SwampDogs’ players instructed Fayetteville kids of all ages on the fundamentals of the game.
