SwampDogs Get Fresh Cuts Heading into the Playoffs

The SwampDogs set a new standard for player accommodations in the Coastal Plain League welcoming local barber John Jay to clean up some SwampDogs hair as Fayetteville readies for its return to the postseason. Jay spent several hours in the SwampDogs clubhouse welcoming players, coaches, and staff members to get their hair cut with a few extra touches for those who wanted to go all-in for the playoffs. Assistant coach Billy Gaskins and intern Mark Mozina will both be sporting the “SD” logo on the back of their heads throughout the Pettit Cup Playoffs which begin next Tuesday, August 8th.

The SwampDogs return to the Swamp on Saturday, August 5 for the final fireworks game of the season on Fan Appreciation Night presented by Cape Fear Orthopedics against the Holly Springs Salamanders. The gates will open at 6 with first pitch at 7:05. For all your SwampDogs news and updates please visit GoSwampDogs.com and follow us on Twitter @GoSwampDogs.
