FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville SwampDogs set the bar for the ultimate fan experience in the Coastal Plain League for the past 14 seasons, and this year, they are raising the bar again. The SwampDogs have announced today the opening of the SwampDogs VIP Suite.
The SwampDogs VIP Suite is the most luxurious place to watch a SwampDogs game this summer. Located adjacent to the Control Room, the SwampDogs VIP Suite is the only air conditioned spot in the ballpark, so heat, humidity or rain won’t get in the way of enjoying your experience.
“The fan experience has always been the most important thing to us,” said SwampDogs general manager Jeremy Aagard. “We are extremely proud of ‘The Swamp’ being the most fan-friendly park in the league, and this is another way we can continue to raise the bar.”
Groups of up to 10 fans can reserve the SwampDogs VIP Suite for a game this summer for only $250. That price includes game tickets to watch all the fun from the private suite; a guaranteed souvenir on giveaway nights; and waitress service, so you don’t have to leave your seats to enjoy all the delicious concessions at ‘The Swamp.’
The SwampDogs VIP Suite is the perfect way to celebrate your special occasion, entertain clients, say “Thank you,” or enjoy the best family fun and entertainment that Fayetteville has to offer while being treated like a VIP.
The Fayetteville SwampDogs are in their 15th season playing in the Coastal Plain League. The SwampDogs are one of the most successful franchises in the league’s history, making the Petitt Cup Playoffs eight times in the past 10 seasons, reaching the championship round three times. The SwampDogs boast 84 alumni taken in the draft and have produced six players who have gone on to play in Major League Baseball. The SwampDogs open their season on Tuesday, May 26th with a 7:05 pm tilt with the Morehead City Marlins at J.P. Riddle Stadium. The Coastal Plain League is the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 19th season in 2015, the CPL features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. The CPL has had over 1,200 alumni drafted and 79 of those – including 2011 AL MVP and Cy Young winner Justin Verlander – make their Major League debut; while another notable alum – Russell Wilson – won Super Bowl XLVIII.
