SwampDogs Announce Dollar Draft Night

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – SwampDogs General Manager Jeremy Aagard is celebrating a birthday today, and he wants to give the Fayetteville SwampDogs fans a present. At the SwampDogs home game on Monday, July 20th, all draft beers at the ballpark will be $1 for the entire game.

When the SwampDogs continue their push toward another Petitt Cup Playoff berth by taking on the rival Morehead City Marlins at 7:05 pm, all draft beers will be sold for just a buck! The dollar drafts will be served in conjunction with Summertime Spook Fest – the World’s Largest Halloween Party in July!

“We’re going to throw the biggest Halloween bash that July has ever seen,” said Aagard.

With nine different varieties of beer on tap, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event will go fast, so make sure to reserve yours now! Call the SwampDogs ticket office at 910-426-5900 to be a part of the fun!

The Coastal Plain League is the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 19th season in 2015, the CPL features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. The CPL has had over 1,200 alumni drafted and 79 of those – including 2011 AL MVP and Cy Young winner Justin Verlander – make their Major League debut; while another notable alum – Russell Wilson – won Super Bowl XLVIII.
