SwampDogs and Tobs Suspended

The Fayetteville SwampDogs and Wilson Tobs played three innings of scoreless baseball on Friday night until the game was suspended due to weather. The two teams will play a double header starting at 4:05 p.m. in Wilson, NC on Sunday.

The Dogs and Tobs will resume the game in the top of the fourth inning and finish the nine inning game. Upon completion of the first game, they will play a seven inning game as the second game of the double header.

Shawn Talkington and J.T. Brubaker eached cruised through their first three innings on the hill. Talkington had one strikeout and forced a double play groundout before the shortened game was postponed.

The SwampDogs will face the Columbia Blowfish Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.
