Ranked as the No. 27 overall prospect in the state of Illinois, Nagle decided to attend school in the Big Ten. Nagle batted around .200 with five RBIs in 22 games this past season as a reserve. He only committed one error for the Fighting Illini. Out of high school, he was ranked as a top-5 overall hitter in Illinois after he hit .459 with 20 doubles, eight home runs and 41 RBIs. In 2011, he was named Co-MVP of the conference.
Personal: He is a fan of Derek Jeter and Josh Hamilton but he bleeds Chicago Cub blue. His favorite baseball moment is watching the Sandlot and he enjoys fishing and golfing.
