Justin Hawkins Earns Player of the Week Honor

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville SwampDogs already have had three players earn Pitcher of the Week honors, now Justin Hawkins (Clemson) has given the SwampDogs their first Offensive Player of the Week award following his red-hot week to close out July.

Hawkins went 9-14 last week including a double and two home runs with four RBIs for 16 total bases, while also walking once and scoring five runs of his own.

The SwampDogs return to The Swamp on Monday, July 31st for World Record Night against the Holly Springs Salamanders. First pitch is at 7:05 with the gates opening at 6.
