Game vs. Copperheads Cancelled Due to Rain

Tonight’s contest between the Fayetteville SwampDogs and Asheboro Copperheads has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. The SwampDogs players and coaches kept the fans entertained with a good old-fashioned home run derby.

Each of the position players took their opportunity to wow the fans with their power. They had two minutes to knock as many over the fence as they could before time ran out. Matt Lahn and Hunter Dolshun advanced to the final round. Dolshun would take the SwampDogs Home Run Championship to the locker room. He will have absolutely nothing to show for it, other than bragging rights for the remainder of the season.
