Fun-Go and some of the SwampDogs’ staff visited Fort Bragg on Thursday afternoon to be a part FOX Sports’ Spring Training to the Troops, a week-long “Thank You” to the armed services by FOX talent and former Major League Baseball players. After a full week of physical readiness training with the troops, youth baseball clinics, school visits and other activities, they concluded the trip with a wiffle ball game comprised of soldiers, players and FOX Sports Girls. Fun-Go was on hand to help pump up the crowd and show his support for a great cause.
“We’re honored to have been a part of such a tremendous event,” said SwampDogs GM Jeremy Aagard. “To see the national support that FOX Sports put behind this event to honor our friends, neighbors and heroes is incredible. This was a great event for both the soldiers and the MLB players and we look forward to more events like this in our community.”
