Striz leads all starters with a 2.32 ERA and seven complete games. He finished his junior year with a 7-5 record in 14 starts. In 101 innings, he has 58 strikeouts, just 15 walks and has only surrendered two home runs. What makes him so dangerous is that he has five pitches and he has a curveball that causes batters to buckle.
Personal: His best baseball moment was winning the NYCBL Championship in the 2012 summer. He loves the Chicago Cubs, Greg Maddux and he enjoys to fish. He is a biology major.
