The Fayetteville SwampDogs hosted day two of Chevy’s Youth Baseball Clinic at The Swamp on Wednesday, welcoming boys and girls ages five to thirteen and all experience levels to learn, play, and have fun with SwampDogs coaches and players.
The camps are apart of a national program put on by Chevrolet Dealers across the country. Boys and girls are able to participate with experienced instructors within their communities at no cost to the participants. As a part of the program, youth are able to spend time learning the fundamentals of baseball such as hitting, fielding, and pitching with professional instruction.
The SwampDogs are pleased to be able to provide a fun and safe environment for kids to learn the fundamentals of the game. SwampDogs Manager Anthony Williams, along with coaches and players, instructed the young participants and encouraged a love of the game.
This concludes the two-day camp in Fayetteville, put on by Chevrolet. The SwampDogs are grateful to Chevy for the passion about the community and the game of baseball.
