Bereszniewicz started in all 30 games he played in and batted .265 with eight RBIs and 21 runs scored. He was fourth on the team with a .364 on-base percentage. In 2012, he batted lead off and started in 49 games in center field. He led the Bearcats with nine stolen bases and had 14 multiple hit games. As a true freshman in 2011, he led the team with a .353 batting average and was named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American.
Personal: He is majoring in management and he won his high school’s Servant-Leadership Award which is given to the best athlete (captain of baseball and basketball teams).
