Alizdair Ray Reflects on 4th of July

The 4th of July is a time to see fireworks and have fun. The Fayetteville SwampDogs’ event started at 3:00 p.m., but my family and I arrived just in time for the fireworks. This was my first time coming to the fireworks at “The Swamp.” People were yelling and screaming during the fireworks because they were so thrilling. I personally thought the fireworks were fantastic. There were many people taking pictures and videos, including my parents. I had a great view of the fireworks.

The parking lot was so full, my family and I had to park across the street! The traffic was so bad the police had to direct the traffic. People that didn’t have tickets to see the fireworks brought their chairs or they sat on top of their cars.  My family and I had been looking forward for this event since June. I wish the 4th of July was every single day. I think this was a wonderful event. If you didn’t make it out to last week’s fireworks, make sure to make it to the next show on August 3rd!!!
