A holiday message from Fun-Go

Dear SwampDogs Fans,

As I’m sure you can imagine, just because the baseball season is over doesn’t mean I haven’t been very busy. After the season, I took a much-needed vacation. You may have seen me on TV at some of the MLB playoff games. But now that Thanksgiving is over and December is here, it’s time for my second-favorite season of the year, the holiday season.

Everyone is in a cheery mood, everything is decorated red and green and the weather is finally starting to cool down – all this fur can get very hot during the summer. While you’ve been out shopping for presents, we’ve been shopping at The Swamp. Jeremy and Coach Anthony are out getting the best players in the country. Even though they said I can’t play, I’m very excited to meet the new players and help them bring home a championship. Meanwhile, I’ve been busy thinking of the best theme nights and promotions for the 2016 season.

After many hours of research and calling a lot of my baseball friends, we have some great things in the works that will continue to make sure that everyone has an incredible experience. We’re working on bringing a much more local flavor to the ballpark, and will continue to honor this great community we call home. Make sure you follow along and stay up-to-date on everything by liking us on Facebook, and following us on Twitter and Instagram. There might even be some early holiday gifts! Be prepared to experience The Swamp as you never have before, but as always – the best fireworks extravaganzas around!

Those of you who will be attending the Hope Mills or Fayetteville parades should stay on the lookout for me and give me a high five when you see me! I’m looking forward to seeing all of you during this special time of the year. But remember, summer will be here before you know it. Enjoy the holiday season with your families and in just a short time, enjoy the summer with me and your SwampDogs family.

Happy Holidays,
